There is limited functionality for the take action workflows. Are there any enhancements scheduled by Infogix in the future.

eg. once a comment is added to a workflow and sent to the user, the workflow is closed. Will there be an enhancement where there can be more interaction available between the initiator and the person who is assigned the workflow. So for instance an option to reply back but not close down the workflow?

    Hi Suniti,

It is on our future roadmap to enhance the Take Action experience.  Thank you for your feedback above, it will be considered during the design of those enhancements.  For now, you can add additional steps to the workflow.  It would allow for a set number of interactions between the initiator and assignee before closing the workflow.  An example would be before it's closed, send a Form activity to the initiator asking for any additional information. Create transitional conditions based on if there is or is not.  If there is input from the initiator then it's sent back to the assignee.  If there is no more input, then close the workflow.  That is one suggestion, but there are several ways to configure the steps and branch the steps based on the form response.

Please let me know if you have any additional questions.

    Thank you,

    Hello Mandy,

We needed a bit more guidance on these settings. Is there any documentation or if anyone can give us a quick demo?

Also, is there a way yet to clone tickets? Do we have a way to re-open a closed ticket? e.g. we have closed the workflow in error.

Can we somehow add an enhanced status to the workflows like - analysis, testing.

    Thanks

    Suniti

    Hi Suniti,

I will have your Customer Experience representative reach out to you to schedule some time for some additional guidance.

The Workflow capabilities are all documented in the help within Govern.  https://governhelp.data3sixty.com/production/Default.htm#d-admin/establishing-workflows.htm?TocPath=Configuration%257CEstablishing%2520workflows%257C_____0

To specifically answer your questions above, there is currently not a way to clone tickets or reopen a ticket.

Once time is scheduled it will be helpful to hear more about how you're using workflow and what type of actions are being taken.

Thanks for your questions, have a great day!

    Mandy

Thanks Mandy. I was wondering whether you will be attending the session arranged by Nam for next week?
