Currently when you create a child asset under a business or technical asset in Govern you are given the "Parent/Owner" field by default, which is a helpful field.
The issue is that this field is not visible on the configuration so you can't control where it is displayed in the gridview, the width of the column nor the sort order.
The field is basically a "Field from Relationship" field which you can very quickly create yourself as a admin, so it would be a better solution to just have this field created from you automatically in the configuration tab as a "field from relationship" with all the options to play with. It would also be an option to NOT create this and just allow an admin to go in and add it if they need it.
I have seen others [<x-zendesk-user data-user-name="Patrick Egan">1502749014881</x-zendesk-user>] asking for the ability to change the name of this field [https://support.infogix.com/hc/en-us/community/posts/4403055339667-Owner-Parent-column-name-is-not-changeable-through-configuration?input_string=Ability%20to%20control%20the%20Parent%20%2F%20Owner%20configuration%20like%20any%20other%20field] , so perhaps just dumping the "Parent / Owner" field all together from a UI point of view would be the best solution and then when an admin creates the Parent field, they could call it whatever they wanted.
What do other people think on this?
