Can we hyperlink terms such as “claim expense” that are used within a definition but exist as a separate term as well?  Or can the system automatically recognize those terms that show up multiple places?  For example, we have defined "claim expense" as an enterprise business term.  We have several different terms that incorporate "claim expense" into those terms' definitions as well.  We would like Govern to automatically recognize that claim expense is defined elsewhere, and hyperlink that phrase to that definition.  In the alternative, we need a way to hyperlink those terms manually so business users can quickly find the appropriate definition.

If your description field is set up as an HTML-type field then you can hyperlink a word within the description to another term.  While in edit mode you can highlight the word that should have the hyperlink and select the "link" icon.  Then paste in the hyperlink to the term to which that word should be link.  It will end up looking like this picture where Provider Paid Date is hyperlinked from within a definition of Claim Paid Date.

While this indeed answers the question of whether hyperlinking is possible, we were hoping Infogix had an automated process for this. We are already at 1,000 terms in our glossary and so this isn't quite a workable solution for us as it would require our data stewards to go into each of the terms, check if there are any other terms in the definition, and then make the link. If you or maybe anyone in <x-zendesk-user data-user-name="Infogix Support">364962974208</x-zendesk-user> knows whether this is possible in an automated way, we sure would appreciate it!

Unfortunately there is no automated to do this.

However, we could add an enhancement request to give some way to create a flexible link to another assets in Govern from within the HTML editor.

And also we will check with our Engineering  team whether writing a script against for your specific set of data will works or not. But this would be a one-time script. - not ongoing .

Please let us know your opinion and in which environment you need it and the Business Asset name with all details .
