  • 1.  Attribute history showing differently based on filters

    Hello everyone,

    I'm seeing a weird thing with history. On the product record, using the hover over view on this attribute (Sellability Flag), I see these as the updates.

    If I look at the full history, I see largely the same thing.

    However, when I clear the attribute and look at all the history, I can see changes on this attribute on 4 January. 

    I'm wondering why these changes are not showing when the Sellability flag is specifically filtered for. Any ideas what could be happening here? Thanks!

    Hi Nick. I'll route this around for some consideration, I'm curious as to what updates the 'Record States' attribute...It's clear that the Long Description, Product Language and Sellability flag were changed, but I'm not sure the order in which those occurred and how the Record States is managed.  

    Can you provide a little more info on that?  I appreciate it!

    Hey David,

    Thanks for taking a look. In this case, it was a file upload by a user to update the data that caused all of these fields to be updated simultaneously.

    Are you satisfied with the cause being the file upload or is there still a question about why specific dates were being shown?

    Brian,

    I understand why the data changed, my concern is more that the history on the pop-up and on the attribute specific are not showing the change. As a user, if I look at the popup or click Full History on a single attribute, I would expect to see all changes to that attribute. Unless a user knew to also look at the full record history, they would never be able to determine when/why something was changed.
