EnterWorks is pleased to announce the release of version 10.2 effective July 9, 2020.
What's New for EnterWorks 10.2?
Upgraded Client Architecture
- The underlying client architecture has been upgraded from Angular 4 to Angular 8. This updated architecture has resulted in improved browser client performance and allows for future development of embedded controls, while maintaining existing functionality and adhering to industry best practices and security standards.
Web Server Stability
- Stabilization of the web server has eliminated the need for frequent system restarts. Connection handling has also been improved and the number of allowed connections has been increased. New traffic light gumballs provide feedback to users on the health of their connection to servers.
Expanded Rebranding Capabilities
- The ability to rebrand the EnterWorks user interface has been expanded to allow the login screen and other images and text to be replaced according to enterprise needs. The WinShuttle EnterWorks logo has also been updated.
System Configuration Properties Consolidation
- Shared system, promotion, and trigger configuration properties have been moved from the sharedConfig.properties file to the EnterWorks database, eliminating the need to keep property files in sync across multiple servers and processes. These properties are now accessible to Administrators through the user interface. New shared system properties can easily be added to the database and migration capabilities have been included that allow the properties to be shared across environments. Backwards compatibility has been maintained for existing properties in the sharedConfig.properties file.
