  • 1.  Error parsing a field - error decoding field

    I am getting several of the same type of errors when I try to sort data or aggregate after miscellaneous modifications (Unicode to String being one of them). 

    I have found that by removing some lines of data where a name might an (A with a tilde on top) or an (apostro above an E) , the errors are minimized.  But removing data is not what I want to do to cure this.

     

    My data came from csv export out of ReportsNow.  I have attempted to import it using various FileCharacterSets and have finally left it at AutoDetect with format set to autoDetect.

    Here's my error:

     

    I'm sure there's something else I can do to continue but I am at a loss.  Please help!

    Hi Sarita, could you send some sample data directly to me? Once I have that I can play around with the settings. There are many properties in the CSV node and I'm hoping that some combination of them will read the file
