  • 1.  Takes a long time to updating a data flow before actually executing

    I'm just wondering how many people experience long waits while a dataflow updates (the blue circle goes round and round) before it gets to the actual execution (the green circle).  In fact, while in the design phase, I spend probably 75% of my time waiting for the data flow to set up....  this even includes adding nodes, deleting nodes and/or moving them.

     

    If anyone is experiencing this, perhaps you can suggest how to overcome.  Is this a design flaw or is it something we have to live with?

    The blue circle indicator is the execution of a node, so that isn't the setup of the node but rather the processing of the node. The status of the node can be viewed by clicking on it:

    For general slowness, I've seen that when the machine Analyze is installed on is low on resources (CPU / memory). How is server utilization on the machine when slowness occurs?
