  • 1.  How do I uninstall previous version of DataVerse

    I had installed DataVerse V 3.0. Upgrading to 3.04 didn't work and uninstall DataVerse 3.0 didn't completely remove all pieces of DataVerse. So, when lunched DataVerse 3.04 installation, I had an error message that new version can't be installed without uninstalling the old version. I don't see the old version on my Program list to uninstall. Any suggestions as to how to completely remove all pieces of previous version?

    The application cannot retrieve the version number from the database which appears to be corrupt.

    If there are no data flows you need to retain then you could rename the following directory:

    %LOCALAPPDATA%/Dataverse/site

    (i.e. in your case C:\Users\helalm\AppData\Local\Dataverse\site)

    to:

    %LOCALAPPDATA%/Dataverse/site-old

    and then run the installer again.
