I am struggling to import a JDE F1201 table as a csv!  I’m chasing errors like "Record: 942, Unescaped quote character '"' inside quoted value of CSV field. "  I've tried every "ignore" available to me and tried other "things" to get the node to import.  When I import the file into excel or text, I can't find the issue....

I see that version 3.6.8 has a means to address this issue but until we upgrade, have you any advise to get around this???

There's a couple of options that have worked for me:

    1. You can manually create the parameter on the node and ensure it has a Run Time Property Name of ls.brain.node.csv.unescapedQuoteHandling

You can enter one of the following values:

    Error
    Skip Value
    Stop at Closing Quote
    Stop at Delimiter

    2. Enter a value in the EscapeCharacter property that is very unlikely to ever be in your file. I usually enter something like ÷ which is generally safe to assume you'll never see it in a file you're receiving.

Second option didn't work for me.

Not sure what you are describing in option 1.  Are you saying create a parameter named UnescapedQuoteHandling or ls.brain.node.csv.unescapedQuoteHandling? If the later - didn't work either.

You can name the property UnescapedQuoteHandling, click on the menu to the right and then select Edit Details -> Run Time Property Name = ls.brain.node.csv.unescapedQuoteHandling.

    Hope that works!
