  • 1.  Dataverse won't load after installing (Windows 8)

    Hi,

    I am new to Dataverse.

    I just downloaded and installed Dataverse (Windows 8) and selected to launch after install, however in the browser window it just hangs on the loading screen.

    Any thoughts?

    Try using this address in the browser
    http://localhost:8080

    Hi Catharine,

    That wasn't it, but it helped me solve it. This is on my work network which uses a proxy for the internet. So in Windows you need to select a check box that bypasses the proxy for local apps!
