Below are some feature I think is not working as expected, Makes dataverse difficult to use.

    1. Composite, In Dataverse needs to select nodes, cut, create a composite, paste into composite.(In Bre, we can select nodes and create composite automatically)

    2. Can't drag and select multiple nodes

3  Cant view data from input and output node of composite

    Dear Sun Fei,

I appreciate the feedback, and I'm glad to hear that you have made the transition from BRE to Dataverse.

I have passed along item #1 to our product team who will be including it in an upcoming release.

As for item #2, you can still select multiple nodes in Dataverse.  Instructions for this are available at https://lavastorm.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/community/posts/207930269-Selecting-Multiple-Nodes.  Please know that Control-A continues to select all nodes in the Canvas while Control-Left Click continues to group nodes one-by-one.

Could you give me a little more information about your difficulty in #3?  I'm having trouble understanding your exact situation.

    Thank you,

    Rocco

    Hi Rocco,

    Thank you.

Holding shift key to select multiple nodes do work. But do you think people would naturally prioritize selecting multiple nodes. I would suggest to use holding shift key to move the graph, and without holding shift key to select multiple nodes.

Regarding No3, I think it is bug? After I create a composite, I cant view data from the input node of the composite.

There is another bug I discovered recently, After I configure property of any nodes, the dropdown box hangs and never disappear.

    Dear Sun Fei,

I have passed your concern about the shift key on to our engineering team and will inform you once I hear back.

As for creating the Composite, I have created a Composite and have had no trouble viewing the data on the input or output pins.  Please to know that, unlike in BRE, you need to click on the numbers, not on the green dots, that follow the outputs of nodes.  This is also true of the input pins in a Composite.  Particularly, when viewing the data on the input pin below, be sure to click on the number 20, not on the green dot:

For your final point, it sounds like you are using the burger menu, shown on the far right in the photo below:

There are a few bug reports around menu's sticking around after use, and they will hopefully be fixed in an upcoming release.

    Hope that helps,

    Rocco
