Cannot run any nodes in Dataverse and I get the following error while trying to run a node. Any advice?

    Hello Antti:

Could you verify that the Dataverse services are all running?  You should see the following, each in the "Started" state:

    • DataverseServer3.0-<port>
    • DataverseJettyServer3.0-<port>
    • DataverseH2Database3.0-<port>

The help documentation provides reference on starting or stopping the server, should you need it.

    Thanks,

    Josh

The services are running. Did a re-install and ran into the same issues again.

This seems to be related to your other post regarding having an issue running Dataverse alongside Lavastorm.  After reinstalling, did you modify the port numbers as described in that response or did you stay with the standard ports?

If you haven't modified the ports, let's make sure the Lavastorm install colliding with the Dataverse ports.  Could you please confirm that Lavastorm is not running in the background?  There is typically a little green circle located within the task tray (near the clock) to indicate that it is running.  Right click on that and choose to exit if it is running.  Once that has exited, please restart the Dataverse services and try and open Dataverse again.

While starting this thread I had colliding port with LAE 6.1. After re-install i changed Daverse port to another one but ran into the same issue. I'm not exactly sure if I had LAE 6.1 in the background when using Dataverse. But like said at a later stage the port was already set to a different one so shouldn't be the issue then anymore. Cannot try Dataverse now with LAE 6.1 not running as I've run into more severe issues with Dataverse now as the client does not open at all.

Issue resolved by doing a fresh reinstall after confirming 2 items:

    1. Previous installation was not running (Looking in system tray)

    2. Reinstalling with Administrator privileges.
