Our client (SiriusXM) have multiple fils in .gz formats that are situated in Cloud environment (AWS S3 bucket folders). We are using DQ+ 4.3 (Cloud-deployed) version to read these files. However, DQ+ doesn't support the .gz extension. The client have tried but failed to convert the files to any other allowed formats like .avro, .parquet, .bz2 etc. We also did try some workaround but it didn't work. So, the client have requested us to raise an enhancement on DQ+ to allow .gz extension.
