We are near ending our test phase for our new SSA, we have 30 testers which have been supplying feedback etc.

One item which surprised me that has been raised numerous times by our testers, is that they miss the Overview Map as seen in Exponare. They use this overview to not just see where they are positioned in the district and on the map but also to quick zoom in on and re-position the main map.

Will SSA get this embedded 'interactive' Overview Map window in the future?

Thank you for the feedback, we had initially planned to deploy this feature and discussed it at a number of customer advisory boards back in 2015. It was suggested by customers that they didnt need the "Overview Map". It would be interesting to know if this requirements changes and users want to see that overview map returned. Is that the case?

Not sure what market made up the Advisory Board, we are a Local Gov environment, the majority of our users have asked where the overview has gone, so given their uses of being able to interactive zoom to locations in the district as well as indicating the extents of the map window and how that relates to the overview I would say is very valid to returning the overview map feature. These suggested uses as well as being able to have the overview in the map print would be great..

The Advisory group was mainly Local Gov. We can add this to the roadmap to ensure we meet this requirement.
