    Hello group,

I know I can call NamedMaps via the overlays= parameter. This can be very useful and I have made lots of use of it, especially when creating bespoke SSA map links for our website.

However overlays= opens and switches on the entire NamedMap group. For example, I have a NamedMap called Planning, it contains 11 different planning layers. If I call that via https://geo.southwark.gov.uk/connect/analyst/mobile/#/main?overlays=Planning&zoom=14 it will open the whole group. There are times when this is exactly what I want. But there are many times when I only want to open one or two of the layers within that NamedMap.

The only way I can see to do that is to create a new NamedMap with just the one or two layers I want to call in. This rather defeats the object of having grouped NamedMaps and it means having the same layer uploaded in a config in two separate places. It’s a pain to have to create new individual NamedMaps just to accommodate the need to call selected layers in via a URL.

So, what would be useful is if there was a parameter to call NamedTables. It could be something like tables=. I could then use a URL like https://geo.southwark.gov.uk/connect/analyst/mobile/#/main?tables=Planning site notices&zoom=14 . A comma could also be used to call in multiple tables: https://geo.southwark.gov.uk/connect/analyst/mobile/#/main?tables=Planning site notices,Planning permitted developments&zoom=14. Or maybe even selected tables that exist in different NamedMaps: https://geo.southwark.gov.uk/connect/analyst/mobile/#/main?tables=Planning site notices,Parking bays, London borough boundaries&zoom=14

I know about the queryTable function (example: https://geo.southwark.gov.uk/connect/analyst/mobile/#/main?queryTable=%2FNamedMaps%2FNamedTables%2FPlanning%20-%20Planning%20site%20notices), but that outputs the selected table as a query result rather than just turning it on.

A new parameter to call selected tables would be extremely useful.
