    Workarounds for known issues while upgrading to SSA12.1

    1. Browser cache issue

    Issue: On upgrade of SSA from 12.0 or 12.0.1 to SSA 12.1, with first launch of SSA 12.1 in chrome browser, user will get a dialog which displays some javascript error.

    Fix: To resolve this issue, user would have to clear the chrome browser cache. Pressing Ctrl+Alt+Del will launch the clear cache dialog, clear the cache and relaunch the page.

    This issue will come only for the first time when you upgrade your SSA from previous version. We are working on fixing this issue in our upcoming releases so that customers have smooth upgrade experience.

     

    2. SSA Admin defined Queries as Quick Search in admin console:

     

    Issue: On upgrade of SSA from 12.0 or 12.0.1 to SSA 12.1, new SSA comes with a feature "Quick Search" and this feature is enabled by default. Inside admin console, on the map config settings page, this features is shown as unchecked.

    Fix: To change the behavior of the feature, please make the necessary change to the setting and save the map config.
