Spectrum Spatial (SSA/LIM)

Hi All,

To ensure our customers get value out of SSA, we are setting up monthly 'How do I..' webinars, were we will cover subjects that you want to know more about.

Some examples:

1. How do I load a CSV dataset in to SSA and create a Heat Map?
2. How do I create customer print templates?

We are looking for you to suggest subjects that you would like to know more about. All live sessions will be maximum of 30 minutes and recordings posted on this forum.

So its over to you, what subjects would you like to know more about?

I would suggest to cover Spatial Manager, Data Binding, Data Editing, Routing ERM set up parameters for using the Travel Time boundaries creation in SSA... how creating Map Information Custom Templates... :-)

How do I incorporate my own maps as Base Maps??

I would love to see

1. Extensible use of infotemplates
2. How do I create a Map configuration to showcasing Interactive videos/images pop up when we click on map features ( ex: Traffic camera video feed)
3. How do I create routing engine with Dynamic route change based on real-time traffic for Multiple waypoints?
4. How do I use SSA to manage Workforce?
5. How do I say SSA overcome ESRI's ArcGIS Online? ( I face this all the time in ASEAN region)
6. How do I use SSA for Public Bike sharing / Carpooling App? (Ex: UBER)
7. How do I use SSA for fleet management?

I am very much curious to know whether we can use SSA to build the above use cases. If yes, How easy it is?. I am happy to contribute if someone is already building such things.

I am interested in all of the above and to be able to track GPS location in real time, creation of tracks, etc, something along the line of map my run and the like.

I would also like the ability to use SSA as a BI tool, how can we do that?

While this may be outside the scope of the initial product, SSA is now designed primarily for Mobile so why not take advantage and push this further, build into it the ability to do what all the others do with the distinct advantage of using your own data and doing way more than just one thing well as others do.

I would like to cover setting up user editing in detail. I understand how to do it but an in depth session would be great so I am sure I am not missing any steps. This would be especially interesting once the tab file editing is enabled in the new version.

Hi Yes I agree a session on editing would be usefull, espestially now that you can edit tab files in the next release.

I'd also like to see a how to edit tabs in SSA webinar.

Yeah good question, we are in the process of creating demo videos for you guys to also access on this site for key areas that you have already asked. These videos and webinars will be available after the release of 12.2. The next release will see some small changes that will improve the way in which you use the system.
