Spectrum Spatial (SSA/LIM)

In my organisation, we are currently working with Exponare. After much conversation with Management with have budgeted to get SSA! I would really love to know all the pros that SSA has over Exponare!

Having had SSA running in parallel with Exponare for 18 months or so we've found a few pro's are:

• Very light footprint, therefore browser accessible via WiFi or Mobile network
• Great interface on PC, Tablet and Phone
• Very rapid response to user input regardless of device
• Locator search bar
• Easy implementation of WMS layers
• Easy user control of layer transparency
• Quick to set up and implement new layer groups and data binds
• Very quick to set up new map configurations or modify existing configurations
• Minimalist look of the mobile interface

The app has a few con's, the worst being the fairly long-winded procedure for creating a user defined query. SSA also does not yet have the extensive admin configuration capabilities of Exponare however I know PB are putting considerable effort into changing that.

Yes @Mike Smith?  we are coming up with some specific features in SSA 12.1 where we are going to give more features which are in Exponare but not in SSA. This should increase your number of pro's and decrease the number of con's :)
