  • 1.  SSA v 12 GUI Bug

    Posted 08-31-2017 01:36

    HI Guys,

I have found a bug in the SSA GUI where SSA becomes non responsive, to changes.

To replicate the issue, load up SSA,v12 click into the map configuration selection box and choose the map configuration that is already loaded.

From that point on SSA is non responsive to any changes apart from dragging the map around.?and zooming in and out.

You cannot change or add layers that are loaded and cannot change Map configuration, the only way to recover is to reload SSA 12

I have tested this in Edge, google chrome and IE11 with them all presenting the same issue.

I have also tested SSA v 11 which doesn't present the issue.

is this a known issue that im not aware of?

    cheers

    Hi Peter,

Thanks that would be great, You may find that you cannot replicate due to SSAv12 being the frontend but Spectrum Technology platform will be version 11.1 which runs on the spectrum demo site.  ?

Seems to be specific to the combination of Spectrum Spatial v12  -- SSA v12

    cheers

    Hi Peter,

Thank you for bringing this to our attention, we have raised this as a issue with the engineering team. I am informed that we will resolve this issue in SSA 12.1

    Regards

    Andy

Thanks Andy, Peter, that's great to know.

Hopefully it is an easy fix for your engineering team and doesn't push back the release date of 12.1?, perfectly understandable if it did push it out a week or so.

    cheers
