  • 1.  Ideal Specs for Windows Server running Spectrum/SSA?

    I know what the current min spec are but what's really used on public facing council systems? Most of our current (internal only) implementations are...

    1. Windows Server 2012 R2
    2. 64-bit
    3. 24GB RAM - about 12GB remaining once all common services are running (no programs running)
    4. Spectrum/SSA use about ~10GB and servers have about 50GB free space on C drive
    5. 4 x Processor   Intel(R) Xeon(R) CPU E5-2680 v2 @ 2.80GHz, 2800 Mhz, 2 Core(s), 2 Logical Processor(s)
    6. HTTPS access
    7. Current SSA/Spectrum

     

    Would having 32GB help? anything else.

    Hi @George Corea? 

    yes, the minimum is 20GB but we would suggest 32GB RAM. In Spectrum Management Console you might also adjust the poolsize of the spatial remote component - the number of requests the component can handle concurrently. It's in Resources>LIM. What’s the number of cores License?
