Yes, we can. We may export the Custom Labels, created in MapInfo Pro, using the Labeler.mbx tool. We can transfer the custom labels to a table using the Labeler tool it will create a new table and will add a layer on the map in MapInfo Pro. Then we can clear the custom labels and upload the map using the Spectrum Map Uploader. The end user will be able to see the label layer uploaded on the SSA map.

Please, take care to export the label with Labeler.mbx at the correct zoom level as they could appear bigger than you want. We suggest to export at a zoom level less than 50km but it depends on the request.

I don't seem to sound negative here, but the development team need to resolve the real problem here, that is ensure that the labeling settings that are made within the MI Pro map before uploading are "honored" by SSA, its that simple. The option to use the Labeler.mbx tool is merely a work around. This work around maybe OK for some larger polygon/regions or polylines where the labels are simple and less dense, however where the data is more complex and the labels are more frequent this solution is simply not appropriate, in our case (i am sure the case with most end users/real administrators out there) we would even be able to use this workaround as it creates unnecessary work and doubles the layers to be administered. I sincerely hope the development team can enhance labeling soon..

Hi @Monica Di Martino? I think we dont need any plugins to upload custom maps with custom labels. I have tried and it is working fine for me as you can see below. See Attachment

Having used Labeler.mbx quite a few years ago I remember finding it difficult to achieve good results. Instead, where text-attribute fields (size, rotation, etc) are available we recreate point objects as text objects within MapInfo. Another technique we use is to maintain a text-object table in MapInfo, but update its text string based on an attribute. That way we can maintain the position, size, and rotation of the text object exactly as required, without worrying about maintaining the text string. The final piece to the puzzle is an mbx that resizes text objects for different zoom levels. With labelling improvements over the years there hasn't been as great a need for all this, but it looks like these tools can be put to good use once again!

Hi @Krishna Bejawada? Not sure to have understood, sorry :-) May I ask you for knowing if these are custom labels into the map ? For custom labels I mean labels moved from their position or changed for style on the map in MapInfo Pro.

@Monica Di Martino? That's correct. I have used Label overlay and then uploaded. I might have misunderstood about the word Custom.
