Here's the hack I use for this -this weekend it was 12.1 to 12.2 re-install (which is basically a move).
1. DOUBLE CLICK ON CLI
connect --h SERVER:8888 --u admin --p xxxxxxx --s False
IN CLI
//backup the server -review http://support.pb.com/help/spectrum/11.1/webhelp/en/AdministrationGuide-WebUI/index.html#AdministrationGuide/source/AdministrationUtility/system_serverbackup.html
server backup --o Directory
//backup the spectrum directories
limrepo export --s / --o /Backup_Aug2018
2. Backup - shut down Spectrum and copy files from
C:\Program Files\Pitney Bowes\SpectrumSpatialAnalyst\customerconfigurations to [somefolder]\rollback (this is referred to as G:\ArchiveData\rollback later on)
3. Perform the upgrade/move
4. In CLI //restore the spectrum directories
limrepo import --s C:\SSA_Backend\12.2\Backup_Aug2018
5. In C:\Program Files\Pitney Bowes\SpectrumSpatialAnalyst\customerconfigurations\analyst
- Shutdown Spectrum/SSA
- Create a rollback folder
- Copy all files/folders into this folder (this is to restore if required)
6. From G:\ArchiveData\rollback\SpectrumSpatialAnalyst\customerconfigurations\analyst
- copy: config, theme and printtemplates folders
- paste into: C:\Program Files\Pitney Bowes\SpectrumSpatialAnalyst\customerconfigurations\analyst and replace the files
- Note the .html files in C:\Program Files\Pitney Bowes\SpectrumSpatialAnalyst\customerconfigurations\analyst\theme\infotemplates will no longer be used (from 12.1 to 12.2) but can be used to assist in the required re-coding.
- Restart Spectrum/SSA (from notification application)
- Old configs should load but data may not load map features unless you login -if this is not the default behavior you need to perform the following steps
- Add the “AnalystGuestRole”
- Now in Admin console all relevant configs should have this role assigned (based on old settings)
- In Address and Routing upload the current address csv
