  • 1.  How do I extend the amount of time a user stays logged in while inactive?

    Users are quite frustrated with the login timing out and having to refresh the window and thus losing where they were up to.

    Can the login time be extended? And if so, where do I find that option? I've had a poke around but can't find it

    Hi Rebecca,

    You can change this setting within the SSA Admin Console. Its on the Settings tab with console, within that Tab you can set the session timeout in minutes. By default its set to 30 minutes, but each organisations has its own limit.

    In the coming releases (October 2018), the end user will have the ability to save session, meaning that they don't have to worry about the session timing out and losing all that work.

    @Andy d'Andilly? this setting is still limited to a max 180 minutes. We have also had a few reports of this setting not holding for the full 3 hours with some our team members experiencing several 'Session Timeout' notifications within a 3 hour block. Not raised a support case for this yet as I've only witnessed this once and wanted to do a little more investigation first.

    Definitely will welcome the save session functionality.

    Great thanks! I knew it would be somewhere but searching the help didn't help me.

    Saving a session would be very useful! We have some staff that would use the same kind of layout again and again
