Hi

I have created a form in composer for FB50. The journal is then routed to various approvers based on the rand value. However the captured currency in the journal is not always ZAR. I need to create a field that will convert the journal value to a rand value so that I can apply the rules for approval to this field. 

Is there anyone who have done this previously and can assist?

Hi Faizee,

I believe this will be possible but will need a little more detail to make sure we recommend to correct approach to address this issue.  First off, where are your conversion rates being stored today, (SAP, web, some other place)?  We would be able to crate a field on the Form that would convert the journal value to Rand Value from the other currency value but we would need to know where the currency conversion value is going to come from or create the process that is convenient for the Form to pull it from.  

Recommendation without knowing more information:

Setup a SharePoint or SQL table to store the conversion rates and then have that feed into the form to then convert the values into a separate field on the form and use that field for routing on the workflow.
