  • 1.  How to send chained query scrips through email (or how to save in folder)?

We have a number of chained query scripts our team uses, but we are having issues transferring the script from person to person.
If we email a chained script, it returns a "This chain is already part of a script error". If we save it in a shared folder, it never opens the file at all.

What we have had to do is open each chain and manually chain them on each of our computers, but this is a hassle (and is a problem when the person only has a runner license). Is there an easy way to share a chained script?

    Hi Michael,

I guess the chained scripts all use the same Excelfile.
I would suggest to publish all the scripts to the Excelfile and then just share the Excelfile.

I agree with Jan. Scripts are all individual. Chaining Scripts is a Run function. Publishing the Chained Scripts to Excel and then sharing with the Runners would be the most viable option.
