  • 1.  Recording ME22N Opens as Display Purchase Order

    I am trying to record a script using ME22N ("Change Purchase Order") transaction.  When Winshuttle opens the transaction, it opens "Display Purchase Order."  I am able to run ME22N in SAP.

    I cannot figure out how to get the proper transaction to open so I can complete recording a script.

    Any help or suggestions would be most welcome!

    Hi Theodore,

    That tcode can open in display mode.

    You can click on the edit/display button on top

    But please put an IF first transaction around it, so that on the 2nd PO, it doesn't toggle back to display mode.

    Hey There :)

    I struggled a lot with ME22N because of its behaviour in SAP.  For me using Transaction ME22 works way better. You just need to figure out, where your data / fields are located because thats a little bit different than the in ME22N.

    I just got done building ME23N and I use the display/Change option in the pull down under purchase Order. This way if you are in ME22N it could be posable that the change mode is turned on.  Hope this helps.

    Since you're new to being a developer, please check out the online training:  https://community.winshuttle.com/browse/training  You can create a support ticket to get a login.  For example, you can go through Transaction and Direct.  You can also reach out to your account rep for training or services help, which will have a cost.

    For IF statements, please go to the Expert Mode tab, there you can add an IF statement and select the row range, as well as use the dropdown to choose First Transaction

    I agree with several of the others - ME22 is easier if you have access, and BAPIs for ME21/2 are a good option.
