  • 1.  Linked scrips reopens data file

    Hi,

    I suddenly come accross an issue where Winshuttle reopens the same data file for every script in a chain.
    The chain is setup to use the data file from the first script setting.

    In the past the chain would open the data file once and let all scripts process the same file (with different tabs).

    Now each script in the chain opens the same data file. As a result the file is read-only and Winshuttle crashes as in the end the file is opened 27 times.
    Could this happen due to a Winshuttle setting?

    hi Koen,

    I have had a similar issue, solution was to set the DataFiles to DoNotSave in the Options menu.
    Next: I would check the chain menu - Run Settings and check if indeed the data file is correct and if each script points at the sheet you want it to work on.
