Have any of you executed the "IE02 Change Equipment Characteristics" script and data file.

I am wanting to edit some class characteristics on equipment via IE02.  i found the attached script and data sheet.  But when I run in debug, I cannot get past the first entry.  It opens the equipment, and class, but does not seem to search for the "Characteristic Description" and the insert the value.

I believe my issue is with the Lookups sheet in the data files.  I believe i need to enter some values, but not clear on what or how.  It talks about creating validation drop downs, but not sure what values should be included.

Step 1 says 1. In the LOOKUPS tab, create the list, with each menu item on a single cell.  Is this a list of all the characteristic descriptions, I can see that the search is very specific on this value (i.e. case sensitive).

Hi Darrell

The script name is a bit misleading, but the description is correct:  This Winshuttle Studio template helps you add classifications to equipment using IE02.  So if you're just looking to modify characteristics already assigned to the equipment, it will need to be tweaked.

This section adds the class - in expert mode
If you disable on the green lines the 2 actions - add a class and upload a class name, it will cycle through to update the characteristics.
After the change the script will look like this

Note the lookup sheet is only if you want to use vlookups (Excel formula) to pull in values, i.e. if I have class type 001 I might do a lookup for the description, i.e. material class.  It has nothing, per se, to do with the script running.
