  • 1.  OK Code for Selecting Specific Tab

    Posted 02-28-2022 18:02

    Hello Everyone,

I'm making recordings for use in BP T-code.  Once a new BP is being created or a BP is being edited there are various tabs.  The normal OK that would be used is =SCREEN_1100_TAB_XX with XX being the corresponding tab from left to right.  I'm running into an issue with the number of tabs being inconsistent.  Is there a way of using a logic condition to test if the tab is correct or directly call a specific tab by name?

    Hi Scott,

Unfortunately no. SAP is consistently inconsistent (shhh, I didn't say that :) )

The best way to know what the tab is called is to record it.

And the best way to know what the issue is, if any, is to run in debug mode to see where things go "wonky".

BP also remembers where you left off, much like XD01 did in ECC, so I always recommend going back to the first screen before saving.

    Best Regards,
    Sigrid
