  • 1.  BAPI for MM02 Add Long Texts - Basic Data Text

    Hello,

    I have created a BAPI to add Basic Data text in MM02 but I cannot seem to get the value for the MATERIALLONGTEXT - TEXT_NAME field correct. I think I have all other fields correct after researching throughout today. I am attaching my script, please let me know if anyone has any suggestions - I am hoping I am just missing a slight tweak to correct it.

    Hi Knavis
    In newer versions of Studio, you can map those fields and more likely than not do a lookup

    I filtered on object type Material - GRUN is correct.

    Note that this method will require you break up the text in up to 72 character lines.  So there will be line numbers, as well.
