Please try checking the Start SAP GUI option on the RUN tab. Here's a support article offering up that option:

If you are doing more than just using the WFM method of entering long text:

Hello everyone,
I'm attempting to create a script that is able to go into a purchase req. and add text to both the header as well as the item text of each item. Ideally I would be able to use ME52N to both update/create lines as well as updating the text.
I am running into an error "Runtime error RAISE_EXCEPTION has occurred". I have tried both using 10 and 1 as the item number. Does anyone have insight to what is causing this error or had experience getting the long text to work?
