  • 1.  Chain Script not working in Production environment

    Hi

    I have created a chain with 14 scripts, with run settings "All from First Script".  When testing the chain in the Test Environment, it runs successfully without any issues.  However when running  the script in the Production environment it process the first 9 scripts successfully, then it errors on the 10th script in the chain, with the error message: "You cannot do this action on PE0 - 100 because the SAP server is a production server" .  I have created the 10th script as a stand alone version under another name, and am able to run this successfully on the Production environment, so this is not a script issue.

    Does anyone know what would cause this error message?

    Hi Rona,

    it looks like it has something to do with settings in the first script. If the error message doesn't give more information I would suggest to run the chain in debug-mode to see exactly which action in the 10th script triggers the error message.
    What is the 10th script doing?

    Hi Jan

    Thanks  so much!  I had a different recording mode for the first script, when I changed that, the chained script worked.  Interesting that there was no issue in the test environment.
