I have been asked to create a script that updates Quality Info Record header text, which is long text.  It appears that the long text function module does not appear to support QI02/QI03.  Is there another way to upload long text except through the Function Module that doesn't appear to support these transactions?

Hi Gail -

You will have to record this the old-fashioned way, by going into the text and capturing any number of the individual 72-character lines you need, depending on how much text you will need to include in your QIR header text. If it's short, you can get by with just one row, but if you need more, you will need to capture as many rows as you think you might possibly have, and the long text will need to be broken up by 72-characters per long text field. I've attached an example that has 3 lines of text, allowing for up to 216 characters.
