It's been a while since I tried this on Foundation, but I believe Transaction scripts can't be setup to run on a recurring schedule, while query will.
This is an Evolve screen shot of Query runs - picking up the same template, but then append a datetime stamp to it every time it's run. The data file library for that run is below.
I no longer have a version of Studio available to confirm on Foundation.

I am looking to use the server scheduling functionality for a transaction.
What's not clear to me is if I set up the schedule, does the server read from the same data template and data template file path on the scheduled intervals?

For example I set up a schedule for a transaction to run at 8am every morning and the data template is saved in a SharePoint file directory, does the server go looking for that data template in the SharePoint file directory at 8am every morning and run the transaction?
