No I haven't tried logical Database EQI query.
and about BAPI need to check since we don't use BAPIs often in our process.
I will try with Logical database.
Actually we have Z-transaction to download the dump from SAP but, its kind of double work to download then moving it to Winshuttle template, instead I want to optimize with a query to download dump inside Loading template.

As a second thought you could also try using Direct and check BAPI_EQUI_GETDETAIL or BAPI_EQUI_GETLIST.

I want to create a query for list of equipments associated in a equipment using one parent equipment as a criteria.
for example if I have a equipment which has several child equipents and the childs have more child sub-equipment's like below, is that possible? and I also want to download some of fields data from equipments like material, construction type etc.
You can view the structure of the equipment using IH03 T code.
