You'll have to use GUI scripting, since there isn't a way to position in the grid. An alternative is using a BAPI if you have one in Direct.
For GUI scripting:
I have an example for the tax numbers, and was able to record the tax id, but you only use it in the Indexed IF
I have a separate if when I swap to EDIT mode, as you only want to do it on the first transaction
for the indexed IF below, you want to compare it to the value in the column - in my case Column C has the value I want to use to look up the right row.
Please ensure you encapsulate your upload row for the ID info inside the Indexed IF.
Attaching as an example, even though it's a separate grid but on the same tab, and you'd use the same concept.

Does anyone have an idea or sample template to add or change ID Types on the Identification Numbers tab, on the SAP BP. Currently, there are no means to go directly to a particular ID Type to change the Identification Number, or to add a new ID Type/Number without overwriting an existing value. Thanks!
