  • 1.  Recurring Journal Entry script does not advance after the first line of the Loop

    Hello - Please see attached script and template, where after the Header is read and the first Detail line, the loop does no t advance to the next Detail Line. 
    IN RUN mode I get this error:

    - No batch input data for dynpro (SAPMF05A 0300 G/L account line item)

    In DEBUG mode, the Header and first Detail line (DEBIT) are processed fine; after I enter the Profit Center under "MORE" screen, the script takes me back to the "G/L Item Fast Entry " screen,  shows the Amount from the first Detail line and does not pull from the template the next Detail Line, with PostingKey, Account and New Company Code.   
    Am I missing a command to force the script to read next Detail line? Any other ideas?

    Hi Vicky

    I think you're very close.  What I believe is missing is going back to the fast entry page inside the loop.  

    The first line item ends here.

    In debug mode when it stops,  if I click fast data entry, it continues.   So I think you need to add that as the last step inside your loop.

    I manually added it copying another row with the same screen name and updated the OK code.  It would look something like this

    You're welcome, Vicky! 

    You were so close.  In general, loops have to ensure that either at the start or end that it takes you to the same place to start entering data for each line item.

    I tried to go to the same screen where you enter the Posting Key and Acct, and then go to the fast GL entry screen. That did not work. I am glad I got it to work
