  • 1.  Studio 64 bit GUI Scripting

    Hello - 
    My WS Studio 12.1 was upgraded to 64 bit on Monday to match Excel which was also recently upgraded to 64 bit.  However, when I tried to record a script using GUI Scripting, the X is missing in the popup window to conclude the recording.  Has anyone else had this issue?  All help is greatly appreciated.

    Hi Lynne

    When creating a Script using GUI Scripting recording mode, you must logoff of the SAP session to end the recording.

    I received a private message, but am replying here.

    For GUI scripting recordings, it will start with opening up SAP, and you will have to logoff of SAP to end the recording properly.  It's been that way in every release of the product.

    For BATCH or NON-BATCH / Standard, you do not have to logoff to end a recording.  You simply have to end the transaction, typically with a SAVE or EXIT.
