Hi Joao -
Yes, an .xlsm file is fine as the data source for Winshuttle scripts, in general.
When I run this linked, all the scripts seem to run. The third script is a Gui Scripting script, so of course it will open up an SAP session of CJ02, if that's the screen that is opening. I would check to make sure that all three scripts run perfectly independently first. Also double check the chain's run settings prior to running the chain.
If you continue to have issues running the chain after checking everything above, it would be best to open up a case with Support.
Thank you!

Hello again,
I tried to chain the scripts I thing I got it. I just wanted to know if its possible to have a .xlsm file to import in winshuttle?
I'm trying to chain a query which will extract a list from SAP, then the excel will calculate the next code to be used, and I want that code used in the next scripts.
Also my second script (CJ01_test) is not working properly. After saving (BU) instead of passing to the next script it opens a new SAP window, don't know why.
I attached the scripts, query and data file.
Can you please help me?
Thank you.

Hi Joao -
Please remove the existing chain first before starting a new chain. The red X will remove script(s) from the chain.
Thanks

Hi Jennifer,
yes, that's a good recomendation because now I cannot start from the query and try to put the others in its chain. It give me the error message "this script is already part of a chain".
How can I now have the scripts which are already chained in sepparate again?
Thank you.

Hi Joao -
In general, one of my recommendations when you get prepared to chain scripts is to always have a set of the same scripts that are not chained. And when you want to chain those scripts, you would copy those scripts and rename them in such a way to reflect that they are part of a chain, and then chain them.
For example, if I had Script 1, Script 2, and Script 3, I would have one set that are named just like that. And then if I end up chaining them, I would rename the copies to Script 1 Linked Step 1, Script 2 Linked Step 2, Script 3 Linked Step 3, etc. That is just an example of the naming.
If you want to start with the Query script in your chain, I would open up the Query script and then create the rest of the chain from there.
Thank you!

Subject: Chained Scripts/Query
Hello,
I'm trying to add a query to a chain of scripts. the problem is that I need the query before running the other scripts, but I cannot add new scripts before the first one, only after, because they are already saved as a chain:

Is there any way of doing it? Or I need to create from the beggining?
Thanks for the support.
