  • 1.  How to update IP Address

    Dear communitiy,
    It is my first contact to the comunity, so hopefully I'm placing my question in the right place.
    We have move our infraestructure to a new supplier, and for that reason the IP of SAP has changed. I need to inform users how to update the connection to inform the new IP of SAP.
    I've tried deleting the automatic login credentials, but I don't find where to update conexion details.
    I'll appreciate if you can help me.

    Hi Cristóbal

    You can approach this 2 ways:

    When prompted to login, you can add server

    You can update via SAP Login properties

    If you go this route, make sure you're pointing to the SAP logon ini file in Options - SAP Settings

    A way to avoid this is to use the fully qualified server name.  You can get it from IT.  That way they can change the IP address, but the server name stays the same.
