  • 1.  End of Sheet not Detected by Winshuttle script

    Hello - can anyone suggest why the Winshuttle script does not detect End Of Sheet in a Template? I had a similar error with another Template and found out there were external Connections ( Go to Data > Queries & Connections and solved the issue by Breaking the Link). 

    I have no external Connections. Please see attached Script and Template.

    Hi Vicky

    Not 100% sure I know what you're running into.  

    I did download the script and template, and even though the data doesn't match my system, I did a validate to see when the script would stop. 
    It ran through row 16 even though the data appeared to stop on row 7.


    I deleted what appeared to be blank rows, although I suspect there were spaces in at least one column.  Validate stopped after 3 rows.


    So if you're experiencing what I did above, it could be those rows that appear empty actually have data (spaces) in them somewhere.

    Also for ending a script, check the Options - Data Settings - Stop after x number of empty rows.  My value is set higher than the default

    Hello Sigrid - Thank you for confirming you experience exactly what I experienced. 

    The template is meant for the end users to fill out the template from row 5 to max row 16 (since there are Excel formulas in these rows.

    I expected the WS script to stop on the row where there is a Blank in the Reference Material # column.
     I checked every single column and found a Space in Col U. I removed the space on all Rows 7 thhrough 16 and now the script recognizes the End of Sheet.
