I am creating inspections sheets (QP01) with multiple characteristics and was advised to use a BAPI via direct which I have (BAPI_INSPECTIONPLAN_CREATE)
The issue I have is that all is ok except for texts, for the inspection header I can use either the standard description field (TASK-DESCRIPTION) or the long text fields in tables in TEXT AND TEXTALLOCATION. I used skip (\) if wanted to just add a description and no long text and this also works ok.
The characteristics also use the TEXT AND TEXTALLOCATION tables. The header and characteristics texts are identified by TEXTALLOCATION-CHA_TEXT_TYPE.
When the loop was added the long text for the header stops working even if I do not add any data to the loop and only run the header data in, any idea of way to solve this problem.
I can populate all the text ok using the BAPI via SE37
I enclose the script and data file, it looks a bit messy and I intend to recreate it once I can resolve the text issue.
