  • 1.  Winshuttle limitation to process number of PO line item records

    ​Hello,

    How many records/PO line items can be updated with WS script in one run ? Is there any limitation on WS script for number of records ?

    I have to update Apprx. to 60K PO line items.

    Dear Pankaj,

    No-where in SAP Documentation, there is any mention about a limit on PO lient items.
    But by experience, I limit my PO with about 900 lines.
    I suggest you to use tha BAPI and retreive all lines of messages to analyse the messages.

    Hi Pankaj

    We don't impose a limit.  What I'm not certain about is do you have 60K line items in one PO or are you updating lines in many POs?

    Limits would include:
    • Excel - 1Million rows, as Vanessa mentioned
    • SAP limits, like 999 line items in a Journal Entry
    • SAP timeouts - so if it's one extremely large update of one document with a loop, could it timeout?  Maybe.   But if you're updating each line and posting, then you should be fine.
    I agree with Nicolas - BAPIs will be most efficient for higher volumes, but Transaction scripts will work, too.

    I am talking about total 60K records  not 60K  line items in one PO.

     

    One PO could have 200 line items .
