  • 1.  Need help with using OK Codes for Order Operations in PM orders

    Posted 03-01-2021 17:00
I am trying to build a script to update work order operations (short text).  We have GUI scripting, but cannot seem to make indexing work.

I understand that there is a non Gui Scripting method that uses OK Codes.  And the OK code for Orders operations is  ok_code =3DOBSE.

However, I cannot figure out how to use the OK codes.  Is there a reference guide, or video that explains how OK codes are used in Winshuttle?

This is where I got the idea: IW32 - Updating an operation on PM order

Thanks for any help you can supply

PS: to clarify, I am not trying to loop the script for multiple line.  I am perfectly fine with one line at a time, i.e. open order, edit line, save.  open same order or next order, edit line, save, etc.

    Hi Darrell

You can enter the OK codes in the same spot you enter tcodes.  Just fill it in =OBSE and hit enter.
Once you do, you'll get the pop-up:

Sigrid, thank you so much for the help.  i I was simply typing the code incorrectly, I must have tried a number of times and only realized that I has the code backwards  OSBE and not OBSE!!!!!   All I can say is "good grief".

    Hi Darrell

Please make sure you include the "=", so "=OBSE".

If that still doesn't work, please check with your SAP Basis team on why it doesn't work.  I've tried it both in ECC and S/4, and it works in my environments.

    Best Regards,
    Sigrid

=OBSE works perfectly.  For the life of me I simply miss typed and could not see it.  I have a script and it works perfectly now.
