And yes, CAWN needs to be there for the CAWNT, just like you need CABN for info in CABNT. Like I said, SAP does not make this easy for characteristics!
For some objects, there may be infosets or logical databases that work. I know of one LDB for Equipment. But when you don't have that, you have to deal with the tables.

Thank you for the query and data file, it wasn't the exact output I wanted but I managed to get my problem solved. I was looking for ATWRT field and its description ATWTB for a object(Material). All i needed to was to make proper relation between ATZHL fields.
The same field (ATZHL) is also available in AUSP table but because length of String is not the same, it was not showing proper join (red in previous screenshot)
So I added CAWN table also in the workspace and added the relation. Then it worked like charm.

I am trying to populate "material characteristics" value and "characteristcs value description" through query and I am using MARA, AUSP and CAWNT tables to do so. The characteristics is pulled correct but the description is not. If i put Joins between ATHZL fields (Int Counter) between two tables it limits to one line output and yet the description is wrong and if i remove the join , it populates multiple lines of different descriptions for same Characteristics value. Can anyone suggest me what I could do get the correct value.
