  • 1.  How to Edit or Update the Basic Data text

    ​Hello there, Morning,

    Need you assistance

    I'm in a situation were
    1.  I need to update the Basic data text with out deleting the existing text  for more than 300+ skus
    2. I  don't have access / authorized to generate report on existing text from the tables STXH and STXL.

    Hi Bala -

    You can do this in a multi-step process. First record an MM03 and use the "Add Long Text" functionality in Studio to download basic data text.  Once the data is downloaded, use excel to concatenate the existing basic data text with the new text you want to also include.  Lastly record an MM02 and use the "Add Long Text" functionality in Studio to upload the basic data text.  This functionality does overwrite everything in the existing long text, which is why you want to do the download and add first, before uploading.
