  • 1.  Logs errors Non batch without sap controls

    Hello Te@m,
    Need your help/support regarding log message returned with this script
    If i apply the script normaly (run specified range) the log message will be "No message is returned from SAP" and successfull report in Winshuttle and in fact none data have been uploaded
    If i run on error i get error log (Control data is obsolete, rerecord (VERBS-NAME: CreateObjectCATT: <none>Callno: 000001) it is reported as an error but all the data have been correctly uploaded  
    How i can fix it ?
    I create first basicdata 1,2 and view classification then i use the script attached based on a dummy materials and the data to upload in the excel file

    Hi Jerome

    It's  difficult for us to suggest what to do, since this appears to be a custom tcode which we won't have in our systems.

    I would suggest running in debug mode to see what is going on.  Also, the error message you're getting is closer to what you might see if you have an issue in a GUI script.

    You might try
    • recording in batch mode
    • recording in GUI scripting mode if batch is not working
    • check with your Basis team to see if they followed SAP standards creating this custom tcode and/or ask if there's another option
    • of there's a standard tcode that can accomplish the same thing, that may be another option to look at.  From the looks of it, it looks like you're setting material master values, and mm01/2 work quite well, as do bapi's for MM

    Hi Jerome, as Sigrid also mentions BAPI's work very well for MM-data creation.
    I very often use BAPI_MATERIAL_SAVEDATA for creating and updating.
    For data extraction I most often use queries from MARA and MARC tables (occasionally other tables too, depending)

    Please review the below Support article link we have on this issue. The first step would be verifying your Winshuttle Function Module add-on version. This will help make sure the return log messages are being reported back properly.

    Hi Jerome, You send me a note stating the  Winshuttle Function Module was not installed.  Without it, you'll have to use GUI scripting.  There is a lot of information about the WFM, it's benefits, our certifications, etc. in the documentation.  Please do check in with your account rep if you need help convincing your Basis team to install it and that it is safe and provides value.
