We are announcing the limited support and end of life dates for some server product version and Journal Entry as well as reminders on client end of life dates.  Please carefully read the  Winshuttle Product Life Cycle Policy regarding the products and versions you are using.

As a reminder, Winshuttle version 10.7.x Desktop products (Transaction, Query or Direct along with the Winshuttle Function Module) used with Connect are already in limited support and their previously communicated "End Of Life Start Date" is December 31, 2020. This is a reminder to consider upgrading to the latest product version directly to continue to receive technical support from Winshuttle customer support using the Studio upgrade guides.  There is no additional cost to upgrade if you have an active maintenance agreement. Please contact Sales to help you with the latest Sales offers since now is a good time to consider Studio Manager server to runs scripts for employees working from home.

Winshuttle's Journal Entry product is already in limited support and now we're announcing its end of life date will be December 1, 2021.  Customers that are currently using Journal Entry need to plan to transition to using our new Studio finance templates.  We have templates for all the transactions you were using in Journal Entry and they are much easier to customize for your company's needs.  You can see the new templates in action here, and please contact Sales to discuss your transition from Journal Entry to the Studio client using finance templates.

We have just published all of the limited support and end of life dates for all our server based products here so please find your product version and review its relevant dates for your planning purposes. Some upcoming dates are December 1, 2021 for end of life of Central 10.7 and note that we've also introduced the concept of extended limited support for some of these product versions where customers who aren't ready to upgrade or migrate to newer products can remain on their product version for a longer period at a higher maintenance cost. For example, Foundation 10.x (also known as Enterprise 10.x) will start extended limited support on December 1st, 2021 and end of life on April 11, 2023.  Please contact customer_renewals@winshuttle.com if you have questions about your maintenance contract.

As a reminder for our existing Winshuttle customers using our existing Winshuttle Foundation, User Governance, Central, and Workflow products that were tightly integrated with Microsoft SharePoint, our new Evolve and Studio Manager server based products don't require Microsoft SharePoint and  were released in May 2020 for new customers. For existing Winshuttle customers who have been using Foundation, User Governance, Central, and Workflow, we are developing migration tools to help them migrate their existing Scripts and in many cases Forms to Evolve or Studio Manager. For Script migrations (product versions 10.x, 11.x, and 12.x scripts) the script migration tool is coming by the start of November 2020 and for forms migrations (product versions 11.x and 12.x Composer Forms), the forms migration tool is targeted for the end of November 2020. Please contact Sales for further migration information.  They can help you budget and plan for your migration project to Studio Manager or Evolve.
