I have built a transaction script to update cost center master data in SAP. The script was built to simply test updating the person responsible for selected cost centers.
While the script works for simple scenarios, it failed for cost centers that have multiple validity periods. For example a cost center could be created for 01/01/2001 - 12/31/2019 under one department, but created for 01/01/2020 - 12/31/9999 under another department.
When this happens a screen will pop-up after cost center is input into KS02. And since the script I recorded was based on a cost center that has only one validity period, it failed.
Should I create another script for cost centers that have multiple validity periods separately? Has anyone created a script for KS02 before and faced similar issue?
