  • 1.  how to query for time-dependant price from inforecord

    Posted 06-27-2019 02:59
The net price in inforecord (EINE-NETPR) is not time dependant: meaning that querying in the EINE-table will not necessarily give you the correct actual price whereas checking the IR (ME13) will. I noticed this issue after updating a number of IR-prices on a date in near future and checking the upload afterwards with a query (EINE-EINA).
Solution: tables A017 and KONP do come up  with the correct time-dependant prices, but if the query is not correctly built you wil get thousands of lines as result. The clue is to link the A017-KNUMH with KONP-KNUMH.
My query looks like this: see screenshot attached.
Hope this helps all of you who need checking inforecord pricing.

Thank you, Jan.  Are you able to share your Criteria tab?  Are you pulling material numbers from a list?  If you are linking the condition numbers in A017 and KONP, what does your criteria setup look like for that join?  Due to the size of the queries we run, I've always run these tables separately and located time specific values with Excel magic, but I've been asked to create a new Query that is list-specific and I run into the character limit when trying to download the KONP.  I'm hoping something like this will help save the project.  We just upgraded to Studio 12 in the past month so I'm still learning the ropes.   Thank you!

    Katherine,

This is the criteria Tab for mij Query:

    So:
    • I'm pulling the material numbers from a list,
    • as well as Purchase org
    • and Plant
    • I restrict Description to English
    • I only want data that's active "today" (=day of executing query)

This works perfectly for me, I hope it helps you out

    Best regards, Jan
